Less than 300 gallons per hour flow per unit is not acceptable. Max lift is to be understood as pumps' overall capacity. Not to be confused with pumps' acceptable operational capacity when used for marine air conditioning applications.

How do I decide what discharge I need?

Look at the side of the unit similar to the radiator on your car. This is the evaporator and is the side of the unit that should be placed right next to the return air grill. This is what we call the "front" of the unit. Looking at the "front", you can decide of you need air discharge from the "right", "left", or "top."
