Dry-Pal Dehumidifier :

Mermaid's Dry-Pal Dehumidification units are an ideal addition to any vessel where dehumdification is a must. This product can be used instead of using your air conditioning system. Manfufactured out of 304-18 gauge polished stainless steel.

The Dry-Pal is available in 110v or 220v applications. This product is designed to dehumidify an area 250-350 cubic feet. It will dehumidify larger areas, however, optimal humidity levels will be more accurately achieved within the units parameters. Non-skid rubber feet are installed on each unit for the security of not damaging counter tops or tables. Ideal location for the unit is in an area where no air obstructions can occur. It is preferred on or near a sink or table where a drain can be utilized. The condensation that is accrued needs to drain to either an overboard thru-hull or a sump pump. Kool-Chest Refridgerator:

Mermaid Air's lines of portable cooler/freezers are offered in several configurations and three sizes. Regardless of whether you choose the stainless steel cabinet in 110v, 12/24v, or 220v, we are sure you will be quite pleased with its performance! The Kool-Chest portable refrigerator/freezer is well suited for the marine environment, whether is it mounted under the pedestal seat of a center console or in the galley of a sailing yacht. Mermaid utilizes R-134a refrigerant and provides a one-year warranty on the product. The cooler/freezer is thermostatically controlled to your preference of either refrigerator or freezer activity. Eliminate the hassles of limited supply and storage of ice! Mermaid's Kool-Chest will keep your perishables cool or frozen! For you fisherman, we have found this to be ideal for fish and bait storage! The 12/24v model machines will have a two speed option control. The low speed is designed for a slower cooling time, yet more efficient. The high speed mode is designed for rapid cooling, yet less efficient. Typically, high speed is used to cool a "warm" chest and low speed is used for the rest of the requested cooling time. Each 12/24V product utilizes the highly recognized and durable Danfoss BD-50 compressors.

Remote Control Thermostat:

Mermaid's exclusive 24v remote control thermostat is a great addition to any vessel. This flush mount programmable thermostat features large LCD displays and a back light display for ease of viewing. This auto change over (heat to cool/cool to heat) thermostat measures 3.13" wide and 4.65" tall. Features also include a compressor short cycle protection control. Because of the "slim" shape, this control is ideal for high traffic areas. The hand held control makes it ideal to set your programs or operate your air conditioner from the comfort of your chair! Replacement remote controls available separately.

Mermaid Condensator:

The Mermaid Condensator is the solution to water in your bilge! For anyone looking to prevent condensation from reaching the bilge or the sump pumps, Mermaid has your solution!

Working the the "Venturi" principle, the Mermaid Condensator is installed in-line with the marine air conditioners water discharge line. As the marine air conditioner and sea water pump are running, the device creates a vacuum effect and literally pulls the condensation water out of the drain pan, merges it with the discharge water, and you condensation is now overboard! The principle here is to leave your boat a "dry boat" by removing all condensation from the marine air conditioners drain pan, bilge, and/or sump pump. Please see the Condensator specs.

Mermaid Primer System:

This system was developed for boats with air conditioners that constantly require priming. Rather than crawl into the bilge to open a bleed-off valve to get the air lock out of the line before starting the air conditioner. Install the Mermaid Primer System just below a hatch cover. Simply open the hatch, turn the valve, and squeeze the primer ball until you have water flow. Close the valve and you are functioning. It can easily be installed in less than an hour.

Mermaid Universal Control:

Tired of using your Knob and Switch control? Mermaid has the solution! Using Mermaid's Universal Thermostat Control you can now convert your old (functioning) knob and switch control to a DIGITAL PROGRAMMMABLE THERMOSTAT!

The device operates by intercepting the power to the marine air conditioning unit. Yes, ANY marine air conditioning unit with a functioning knob and switch control!

The Uni-T-Stat is easy to install and now allows you to use the included programming features to aid in dehumidification of your vessel by converting all control to memory back-up digital programming using the soft-touch control panel.

As mentioned, the current knob and switch does have to be functioning, however, it is only used once or twice (if the unit has heat) and will not be touched again! Simply turn the settings on the knob and switch to the "HIGH FAN - HIGH COOL" or "HIGH FAN - HIGH HEAT" and now everything would work off the digital programmable thermostat! Display can be either in Fahrenheit or Celsius scale and can be in 12 or 24 hour mode. 220v model units also work on this same control!

Water Strainers:

Mermaid's standard water strainer comes with a bracket and hose barbs. Hooks to their standard 3/4" ID hose. REplacement #20 mesh filters, and "O" rings available also. Molded plastic, large or small.

Mermaid's Groco water strainer comves complete with a mounting bracket and appropriately sized hose barbs. Bronze body and olastic housing and filter.
