NOTE: In the past, Mermaid Air provided a water pump with each marine air conditioning unit. Due to the various opinions when it comes to the sea water pump, they have elected to discontinue this program and no longer provide a standard pump with each air conditioner. We will, however, stock a certain variety of pumps for you to choose from here. We are not recommending one pump over another. However, we can provide technical assistance on the pump you are considering. Please also see the Pump Comparison Lift Table.

5,200 BTU Cabin Air Conditioner:

Smallest footprint on the market and weighs in at 31.5 lbs. for the unit, and 4.7 lbs for the electrical box! This unit has a rotatable blower and tapers down to a "V" shape for those odd angle discharge installations. We use 4? ducting and recommend a minimum of 2, 4" round supply grills with this installation.

This unit will run off the new Honda eu1000i 1,000 watt portable generator, while in cool mode. Another option is to use a Statpower 1,000 Watt Inverter and 400 amp hours of battery power and you can anchor out (one average) for one night. Due to the construction of this unit, electric heat is not an option with this unit. This unit is ideal for the "tight fit" installations and is a welcomed addition to larger vessels for individual climate controlled cabins. 9,000 BTU Cabin Air Conditioner:

This unit, the smallest 9,000 BTU on the market. It is almost the same size as the Mermaid M6 unit. In order to keep the smallest footprint on the market, we utilize the same stainless steel base as the Model M6 - 6500 BTU unit.

This unit is available in right, left, or top air discharge configurations, and is available as a "Cool Only," "Cool/Electric Heat," or "Cool/Reverse Cycle Heat." We use a 6" and 4" ducting and recommend a minimum of three 4" round supply grills with this installation.

The electric heat option generates 5,640 BTU of heat while the Reverse Cycle generates over 10,000 BTU's. Electric heat is not available in 220/240 Volt configurations. All M9 models include a digital programmable thermostat, an insulation mounting pad, and an air output collar. Pump not included.

12,000 BTU Cabin Air Conditioner:

This unit is available in Right, Left, or Top air discharge configurations. It is available as a "Cool Only," Cool/Electric Heat," or "Cool/Reverse Cycle Heat." This unit produces 12,000 BTU's in cool mode, only 5,640 BTU's in electric heat mode and 14,000 BTU's in reverse cycle heat mode.

We recommend at least three discharges for this unit. One 8" x 6" grill should be within 6 feet of the unit and at least two other discharges need to be at least the 4" round supply vents. As always, more is better; these are minimums. Electric heat is not available in 220 Volt configurations.

All M12 models include a digital programmable thermostat, an insulation mounting pad, and an air output collar. Pump not included.

This is our work horse unit! The Mermaid Model M-16 - 16,500 BTU system produces phenominal climate control to vessels ranging from 38-45 feet. Manufactured on high grade 304-18 gauge stainless steel, this unit was engineered with your comfort in mind.

This unit is available in Right, Left, or Top air discharge configurations. The unit produces 16,500 BTU in the cool mode and 18,000 BTU in the reverse cycle heat mode. We recommend at least three discharges for this unit. One 8" x 6" grill should be within 6 feet of the unit and at least two other discharges need to be at least the 4" round supply vents. As always, more is better; these are minimums. The electric heat option is NOT available on this model.

All M16 models include a digital programmable thermostat, an insulation mounting pad, and an air output collar. Pump not included.

Teel Pump
1.1 amps, 1 year warranty. Used for lifts up to 3 feet. 110v and 220v available.

Model 7 Mag Drive Pump
1.5 amps, 1 year warranty. Magnetically driven impeller system. Pump designed for single unit applications where vertical lift and overall length of hose require a higher GPH.

March Pump
1.7 amps, ideal for 2 unit applications with no more than 6 feet per unit lift.
1.8 amps, for lifts up to 2 feet, 1 year warranty
2.35 amps, for lifts up to 6 feet with 6 ft lift.

Pump Relay Box
Allows multiple units to command one large pump. Pump only runs when at least one unit calls for it. Available for multiple units up to 6. We stock 2 & 3 unit relay boxes.
