Hello Paul,
Just wanted to drop a line and let you know that with the Fourwinds 2 and
solar panels we have only had to run our engine for four hours this year.
Yep, four hours in seven months. Our travels took us to the deep Out Islands
of the Bahamas, a month in West Palm Beach, and now in the Chesapeake. Since
I've been lax in hooking up our controller we've actually had to tie off the
wind generator on breezy days to keep the voltage down.
Thanks again for helping us rebuild the generator after the hurricane damage
of 2004. The combination of wind and solar is unbeatable for those of us
without an auxiliary generator and wanting to keep our main engine hours
down.
